One Inch Badge is a concert promotions, record label and venue management company based in Brighton, UK. We are the most prominent and active independent contemporary concert promotions company in the South East.


One Inch Badge promote over 500 events a year in-house and on behalf of clients. We have been delivering events throughout the UK for over 10 years for diverse artists such as Brian Wilson, Suede, The War on Drugs, Bonobo, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Haim, Bastille, Royal Blood, Kurt Vile, Wu-tang Clan, 2manydjs, Rodriguez, Nils Frahm, Olafur Arnalds and many more. While music is at the core of our programming we also promote and produce a number of spoken word, poetry, television, children’s and video game events.


We are looking for an experienced, dedicated and proven production manager to join our expanding team in Central Brighton. The position of production manager is a crucial role in the delivery of our live events. We expect applicants to have previous experience and understanding in event advancing, event logistics, artist and venue technical requirements, industry suppliers, budgeting, and staffing.


In this role you will be responsible for delivering the technical and logistical side of our live events; advancing the event with artists, tour managers and venues; working to strict production budgets; preparing advance information for the show teams; booking technical and freelance staff; liaising with production suppliers; putting together tour books and schedules; reporting on budgets and post show reports to event promoters and company directors.


Good communication skills are a must, you will be expected to liaise daily with touring artist’s production teams, venues, agents, suppliers, freelancers and artists. You will have very good attention to detail and strong organizational skills, as well as confidence, a positive working attitude with a desire to work as part of a team.


Past direct experience for this role is essential, it would suit someone with two to five years of previous experience working within production and technical side of the live music industry.


In addition to your 35 office hours per week you will be expected, when necessary, to work evenings and weekends as a member of our live concert company as well as to meet and liaise with current and potential future clients.


Some national travel involved - Annual starting salary for this position is £21,000 per annum.
